LHA is a sponsor of the Loess Hills Cooperative Burn Week.
The 8th Annual Loess Hills Cooperative Burn Week will be held in late April 2023. The Incident Command Post for the event will be held at the Loess Hills State Forest headquarters in Pisgah, Iowa. Participants of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to attend the event. The focus of the event is to promote quality interagency working partnerships, provide fireline experience, implement live fire on the landscape on a variety of complex burn units, and to provide opportunities for participants to work on qualification improvement (NWCG, IFIRE, and organizational systems).
Registration will be open on February 1 – March 15, 2023.
If you have never attended and are interested, please contact Kody Wohlers at kwohlers@inhf.org.
